2008 Trip to Italy

                           This fall we will be visting the beautiful regions of Piemonte and Liguria!

                                                             Dates: September 6 - 16, 2008

            The trip will include stops in Torino, Alba, Asti, Sestri Levante, Le Cinque Terre, & Portofino                                               Here is a brief (Tentative) Itinerary of our proposed 2008 Trip:

• Aug. 25 (Mon.) - Trip Briefing at Pasta Plus Restaurant
• Sept. 6 (Sat.) - Depart from Laurel (via Dulles Airport) to Paris
• Sept. 7 (Sun.) - Depart Paris to Torino / Charter Motorcoach to Alba / Welcome to Italy Dinner
• Sept. 8 (Mon.) - Daily Breakfast / Monforte d'Alba - visit to Vineyards & Lunch / Dinner near Barbaresco
• Sept. 9 (Tues.) - Torino: visit to Castle of the Savoy Family / Egyptian Museum / Church housing the Shroud of Turin / Independent Lunch / Dinner plans TBA
• Sept. 10 (Wed.) - Asti - Visit to Vineyards & Independent Lunch / Dinner in Dining Room of the Castello of Grinzane
• Sept. 11 (Thurs.) - Return to Grinzane for museum visit / Back to Alba for Shopping Day / Dinner in La Borra
• Sept. 12 (Fri.) - Travel to Genova / visit to Genova Aquarium of the Mediterranean / Check-in at Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante / Dinner at Villa Balbi
• Sept. 13 (Sat.) - Train to visit the Cinque Terre / Independent Lunch / Afternoon boat ride back to Sestri / Dinner Plans TBA
• Sept. 14 (Sun.) - FREE DAY in Sestri / Dinner at Ranch Camillo
• Sept. 15 (Mon.) - Train to Rapallo for boat ride to Santa Margherita & Portofino / Arrivederci Dinner
• Sept. 16 (Tues.) - Flight home Milan (via Paris) to Dulles & Back to Laurel
